Day2: Transfer Road Trip From Phnom Penh To Siem Reap 

We meet you at lobby and keep driving to SKUON (call Spider Market) a local market known for a very unusual street food specialty fried spiders, tarantula type spiders, called A Ping in Khmer along with other edible insects.

Lunch Break

Spean Kompong Kdei (Chi Kraeng District, Siem Reap Province) built by the reign of King Jayavarman VII (late 12th century early 13th century) the same king who built the Bayon Temple and Ta Prohm (Tomb Raider). Naga balustrades both sides of the bridge and lined with multi headed Naga (serpent) railings, symbolizing protection and power in Khmer mythology.


Day3: Small Circuit Angkor Thom, Ta Prohm and Angkor Wat Temple 

Angkor Thom

 • The last capital of the Khmer Empire, built by King Jayavarman VII.

 • Surrounded by massive stone walls and moats.

 • Enter through one of its impressive gates topped with giant faces.

Bayon Temple

 • Located in the center of Angkor Thom.

 • Famous for its 216 smiling stone faces of Avalokiteshvara.

 • Intricate carvings depict daily life and historic battles.

 Baphuon Temple

 • A three-tiered mountain temple dedicated to Shiva.

 • Restored piece by piece, offering a great panoramic view from the top.

 Phimeanakas & the Royal Palace area

 • Once part of the royal residence; contains small sanctuaries and ponds.

Terrace of the Elephants & Terrace of the Leper King

 • Platforms used for royal ceremonies and viewing parades.

 • Decorated with carvings of elephants, dancers, and mythological figures.

 Thommanon & Chau Say Tevoda

 • Twin temples located just outside the east gate of Angkor Thom.

 • Elegant, well-preserved examples of Angkorian architecture.

 • A massive, unfinished sandstone temple mountain.

 • Dedicated to Shiva; its steep climb offers a nice view.

 Ta Prohm

 • One of the most atmospheric temples, left partly overgrown with giant spung trees.

 • Built by King Jayavarman VII and dedicated to his mother.

 • Famous for its “Tomb Raider” movie appearance.

 • The largest and most famous temple in Cambodia.

 • Dedicated to the Hindu god Vishnu, built by King Suryavarman II in the 12th century.

 • Renowned for its towers, bas-reliefs, and sunrise view.
