Banteay Srei Temple and Kbal Spean Hiking Trip

we start trip after breakfast and going to Banteay Srei Temple

Banteay Srei is famous for its exquisite pink sandstone and incredibly detailed carvings that depict scenes from Hindu mythology. Despite its small size, the temple is admired for the fine craftsmanship of its sculptures  often considered the best in Khmer art. Built in the 10th century and dedicated to the god Shiva, it stands out for its delicate design and well-preserved decorative motifs.

* Hiking and Walking Up 1500M high Kbal Spean

Kbal Spean is not a typical temple but a sacred riverbed carved with hundreds of lingas (phallic symbols of Shiva), yoni (female symbols), and images of Hindu gods such as Vishnu, Brahma, and Lakshmi. These carvings were made in the 11th century during the reign of King Udayadityavarman II. The site symbolizes the fertility and blessing of the waters, believed to flow downstream to Angkor, nourishing its fields and temples.
